Horizon GUI cant be reached, though the installation was successful

The stack.sh script ran successfully. Data from /opt/stack/logs/stack.sh.log

This is your host IP address:

Horizon is now available at

Keystone is serving at

The default users are: admin and demo

The password: openstack

But I cannot reach the  dashboard. The ip address is not pingable

    I gave the  wrong ip address in the local.conf file  . I can access openstack on eth0 inteface

    @pparasar - what IP you had given before and to what did you change it to make it work ? because I am also facing same issue

    I have given eth2 ip address in the local.conf file ( copy pasted from lab doc, no manual change done )

    I think you will find that the 192.168. address is a non-Internet routable IP address. You will need to use the IP address found on eth0 to gain access to the lab system. 

    As it mentions in the start of the lab you are accessing a remote lab environment. There are internal IP addresses used to communicate between nodes (192.168.) and Public IP addresses used to gain access to the node from the outside world.  

    Use the public IP address in your local browser to connect to the dashboard.

    Hi, It is still not working for me.

    I am using eth2 IP in local.conf file and eth0 IP in local browser.

    Can Ping Dashboard address, but can't get to Dashboard GUI

    The site can't be reached took too long to respond

    hi all,

    i have installed multinode openstack newton setup. The setup was successful, but i am not able to access the dashboard of the controller node. Does anyone know this issue?

    There are a few interfaces available. Could you let us know which interface you used, and the output of ip addr show <interface>?
