Is there a way to hide/remove the "GRUB loading. Welcome to GRUB" message during boot?

Here is my /etc/default/grub :

GRUB_DEFAULT=0
GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE=hidden
GRUB_TIMEOUT=0
GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR=`( . /etc/os-release && echo ${NAME} )`
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash loglevel=3 systemd.show_status=false udev.log_level=3 vt.global_cursor_default=0"
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX=""
GRUB_THEME=""
GRUB_BACKGROUND=""

I also get a blinking cursor right after the linux kernel is loaded despite passing the vt.global_cursor_default=0 kernel parameter. Other blinking cursors have disappeared though!!!

    Hi l3gi0n,

    The “GRUB loading. Welcome to GRUB!” message appears early in GRUB's startup, before the Linux kernel loads. That's why quiet, splash, and loglevel=3 won't hide it.

    You can try adding this to /etc/default/grub:

    GRUB_TERMINAL_OUTPUT=console

    Then run sudo update-grub, but note that this doesn't guarantee the startup message will disappear.

    On BIOS systems, GRUB's early boot code generates the message, so removing it completely may require modifying and reinstalling GRUB's boot image. I wouldn't recommend that just for cosmetic reasons, as it could leave the system unbootable.

    For the blinking cursor, vt.global_cursor_default=0 only controls the Linux virtual console cursor. It won't necessarily hide a firmware, GRUB, or graphical startup cursor.

    Also check the BIOS settings to understand the machine; if possible, reset the settings and try again.

    Hope this helps!
