Is there a way to hide/remove the "GRUB loading. Welcome to GRUB" message during boot?

Here is my /etc/default/grub :

GRUB_DEFAULT=0
GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE=hidden
GRUB_TIMEOUT=0
GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR=`( . /etc/os-release && echo ${NAME} )`
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash loglevel=3 systemd.show_status=false udev.log_level=3 vt.global_cursor_default=0"
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX=""
GRUB_THEME=""
GRUB_BACKGROUND=""

I also get a blinking cursor right after the linux kernel is loaded despite passing the vt.global_cursor_default=0 kernel parameter. Other blinking cursors have disappeared though!!!
