Request to Investigate CKA Exam Score Following Technical Issues.
Dear Linux Foundation Team,
I appeared for the CKA (CNCF) exam on 1 August 2026 at 18:00 IST.
In my first attempt, I scored 44%, which was consistent with my performance. However, I was surprised to receive only 19% in my recent retake attempt. Based on my assessment, I correctly completed approximately 12–14 out of 16 questions, and I verified my solutions before submission.
Throughout the exam, I experienced multiple technical issues, including an unresponsive terminal and missing resources referenced in the exam questions. I reported these issues to the proctor, and the technical support team joined the session to assist. Despite their efforts, the problems were not fully resolved.
With approximately 40 minutes remaining, I was working on Question 9 or 10 when my terminal became unresponsive again. The support team raised a support ticket and advised me to relaunch the browser. Since I was concerned that doing so could terminate my exam, I instead reloaded the session and opened a new terminal. During this time, the proctor granted me additional time to compensate for the disruption.
Given the repeated technical issues during the exam and the unexpectedly low score, I am concerned that my submitted responses may not have been properly recorded or evaluated.
I respectfully request that you review my exam attempt and verify whether all of my responses were successfully captured and assessed. Considering the number of questions I completed, a score significantly lower than my first attempt appears inconsistent with my performance.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response.

Hi @vaibhav0304
We apologize for the issues encountered with the exam. Please note that all exam-related inquiries are handled exclusively by the Linux Foundation Customer Support Team through JIRA — this forum is reserved for course content questions and isn't monitored by that team. You already have two open tickets with them, so please hold off on opening additional ones; extra tickets won't speed up processing and can actually cause delays by splitting your case across multiple threads.
Support tickets are processed in the order received, and turnaround can take several business days (excluding weekends and holidays). All updates and communication will come directly through your existing JIRA ticket(s).
Thanks for your patience while the team is working to address each ticket.
Regards,
Flavia0
