Can I get help in setting up VirtualBox or VMWare on my Mac?

Although I started a free trial, both GCP and AWS want to charge me as soon as I go to VPC Networks to create instances.
The course doesn't clarify that additional costs are required to run the labs with the cloud providers recommended by the instructor.
Can you please provide detailed instructions on how to set up VirtualBox or VMWare on my Mac so that I can start the course and the labs?

Thank you!

Vmware on the Mac is not free, you have to get "Fusion" which is cheap but not free. Virtual Box is completely fine and is free of cost for educational purposes at [ https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads] . Installation is straightforward and there is no need for us to confuse you.

    Hello,

You may be able to take advantage of credits:

    $300 free credit

New customers also get $300 to fully explore and conduct an assessment of Google Cloud Platform. You won’t be charged until you choose to upgrade.

  • I think that's what I subscribed for. But when I tried to create my first instance, I was asked for a billing upgrade.

  • Thank you, it works.
