Video stuck in fast forward

I have UBUNTU desktop 64-bit version and for some reason my videos are playing in fast forward all the time. Like on youtube or on any website. Can anyone help me with step by step help?

    Sounds like a gstreamer problem.

    Try using VLC or mplayer instead of Ubuntu's default player and check if it still happens.
