root permissions with fdisk

Options

I have a 250GB sata harddrive that I've been trying to use for a NFS network. I partitioned it using "fdisk" under my account enabling root privileges to use the command using "sudo".

After the disk is partitioned and the partition/partitions are formatted, I access the partitions from "my computer". The partitions mount successfully, but I am unable to store files in them. It says:

"Error opening file '/media/b55379a4-7f09-400b-a041-2792534ae987/NFS on linux.odt': Permission denied"

The permissions of the partitions were checked, an noticed ownership is set under the root only. I logged into the root account, and there is no permissions under the root to set.

What is causing this miss ownership delegation?

Have you done your research into the fstab options so you can set the permissions of the partition on mount?
