hi! i want to ask theres a program that i can use for free computer inventory system. and i want use a ubuntu 10.4 for this.. i hope can you give me a step by step procedure or procedure what i can do.. thank you...

    i want Free Computer Inventory that can view what OS or even the details of what hardware installed..

    My personal approach would be to capture hardware, Os and software info via ssh and bash scripts.
