hello friends

I have installed ubuntu 10.04 on my pc. it really good.

but the default download tool of Firefox is too slow .Is there

other download tool ?

    All file transfer applications are limited by your network connection, your internet connection and the responding servers bandwidth limit. Firefox itself is not slow, it may just be the site that you are attempting to download from is throttling the connection.

    If you are unhappy with firefox you can copy the links from firefox and download them via wget in the command line.

    I personally do not use any GUI file transfer utilities, but others may be able to recommend some good ones for your needs.
