Welcome to the Linux Foundation Forum!

Which distros are currently available for the LFCS test?

Hey,
I'm just starting my LFS207 course and want to get the most out of time spent by studying with a distro that will be available during the test.

I am most comfortable with debian but if only ubuntu is available at test time I would prefer to study with ubuntu.

Has anyone been able to find a definite list of what distros are available for the LFCS test?

Did you ever get an answer on this question? I'm curious too.

    Hi @msnape90 and @CaryPACS

LFCS is actually distribution agnostic (as of the 2023 exam refresh). You should also check out the Candidate Handbook for additional information (such as specific Exam Environment details). I hope this helps.

Thank you @Flavia, I can't answer for @msnape90, but I'm wanting to know what distros and versions are used during the testing as VMs.
