I can't seem to connect to the vm with Network error: Connection timed out
Just starting with the course and during the Course introduction: Using GCE to set up the lab environment I was able to create the vm and added the student ssh key, however the connection keeps timing out.

How soon after you successfully log into the GCE instance is your connection getting dropped?
Is the connection dropped as you interact with the GCE VM, or is it dropped as a result of inactivity?
Is the Google Cloud Region hosting your GCE VMs the closest to you geographically?
Is there a firewall or VPN that filters your traffic?Regards,

Hi @chrispokorni,
The connection is dropped immediately as I try to interact with the VM, so where in the video I would expect to see a prompt to type in a password for the student user, I get a Connection timed out error. I actually tried setting up two VPC networks, one nearest to me and one that's the cheapest and both giving me the same error. Not sure if there is a firewall as I am using my work laptop, but definitely no VPN.
Would I be able to see some logs from trying to connect if there was a firewall?
