Troubleshooting read-only boot issue

I need some help with troubleshooting a boot issue. My RHEL8 server keeps booting as read only. I have done the following troubleshooting to fix the issue:

  1. Checked /etc/fstab for read-only parameters, there are none.
  2. Used fsck to identify any errors, there are none.
  3. Checked logs and journalctl for errors, there are none.
  4. Used xfs_repair to identify and correct any issues, there are none.

I am out of ideas of what could be causing the issues. Any help is greatly appreciated.

These tools can sometimes reveal hidden errors or conflicts that aren’t obvious from the standard checks.
