CKS EXAM - PSI Crashed (AGAIN)

I need to share my experience with PSI’s exam system because it’s been incredibly frustrating. During my last exam, their program crashed three times. I recorded a video as proof. Each time it happened, I had to reinstall the PSI browser, go through all the security checks again, and rescan my entire room—all while the exam timer continued running.

The proctors didn’t provide any meaningful assistance. They insisted it was an issue with my camera, but my camera is brand new, has been working flawlessly for months, and I have clear evidence that the issue was with their program—I recorded the last crash.

The first time this happened, they gave me another attempt. But this isn’t about attempts anymore. I know I’m more than capable of passing the exam on the first try, but I’m not being given the chance. Meanwhile, time keeps passing, and the certification I need for my job is delayed.

This is the second time I’ve faced these problems with PSI, and it’s extremely discouraging. These exams require a significant investment of time, effort, and money, and the consequences of not completing them fairly directly affect my career. It’s disappointing that such a critical system isn’t more reliable.

Same just happened to me. My first attempt at the CKA. The PSI system just tells me my camera has stopped recording, and throws me out. Went through the check-in five times with two different webcams, got about halfway through the exam the last time it happened. I've raised a ticket, but haven't heard back from them yet.

    Really discouraging stuff.

  • This also happened to me on my last two attempts. It froze right in the middle of the exam and there was no option to continue it. The internet and computer were fine. The PSI browser is completely different from the simulation system, it is much slower.
Unfortunately I paid to take the exam and was unable to finish either attempt.

  • The same thing happened to me today. PSI and their team are trash. The PSI Browser crashed in the middle of my exam, then crashed the entire OS, and later failed during the security checks. After several attempts, the security checks finally passed, but I had to go through the entire verification process again. I explained everything to the proctor, but they were unhelpful, slow to respond, and eventually transferred the chat to the technical team. The technical team then asked ridiculous questions like, “Are you contacting us for the first time?” along with my personal and exam details. Seriously? I contacted them through their own browser after passing all checks including identity verification, and yet they asked me for all the information again. In the end, they told me to contact the exam vendor instead of fixing my issue. They wasted more than 40 minutes of my exam time.
