Welcome to the Linux Foundation Forum!

Unacceptable behaviour from Linux CKA exam Procter.

The exam began approximately 40 minutes late. Once it finally started, I was unable to enlarge or resize the PSI browser window. Out of frustration, I quietly said to myself, "This is too difficult to handle." Immediately after, my exam was terminated with the message:

"The proctoring session has expired for this exam.
Reason: Talking aloud / Talking to yourself.
Please contact your Exam Sponsor for more information."

If we are not allowed to take the exam properly—either due to technical restrictions or not being permitted to take it from an online center—how are we expected to pass?

I have already raised a support ticket regarding this issue. Kindly review it and respond as soon as possible.

I understand the importance of strict exam protocols, but I respectfully request a review of the incident. I did not receive any warning before the exam was terminated, and I simply spoke to myself out of frustration due to technical issues. I believe this action was taken in error and would appreciate the opportunity to reschedule or retake the exam.

    Hi @nkarmakar ,

We are sorry to hear about this experience and can understand how frustrated you must be.

Please note that the Training Team members monitoring this forum can only assist with issues related to our e-learning courses, not certification exams. However, according to the Linux Foundation, the exam expiration date is July 16, 2025. If they get back to me after 3–4 days, I won’t be able to take the exam again, and both my time and money will be wasted. Do you have any suggestions?

@fcioanca Thank you for your valuable suggestions. I’ve received a new opportunity to reattempt the exam, and the deadline has also been extended.
