I took my CKA today and I spent 50% of the exam time for:

    • waiting for the PSI Browser to render key words like "ingreeeeeeeeeess" instead of ingress
    • The terminal was so slow opening yaml files it stressed me so out
    • scrolling is impossible
    • copying and scrolling in the browser is just not possible.
    • Sometimes the terminal just simply did not apply changes though using ':wq!'

I was faster typing off the keywords. It is very frustrating - I used KodeKloud and Killer.sh and both env I got the exams done so fast that I had at least 30min+ of time left after the end.

But this PSI Browser almost took me all of my time.
Impossible to debug or switch terminal or applications.

Honestly this was so stressful I don't even know if it is worth going for a retake.
I think concentrating on certification that are not served by PSI are more worth the time and hair i lost today.

    Hello,

I had my CKAD exam today and was really dissapointed to see issue with the PSI browser.
Within just 7-9 mins of starting exam, the PSI browser session stuck and got closed/disconnected abruptly on its own.

I spent almost an hour on this connecting to the Proctor via chat, the proctor then connecting tech-support.
Then proctor closes chat saying you already connected to tech-support. I re-initated PSI secure browser 3rd time and when resumed the exam again to my shock, only 1 hour was lapsed.
Which made me even furious that why should I lose exam time due technical issues that too at PSI Broswer end, inspite of all my laptop system and compatibility checks were passed before and during the exam.

I reached out proctor again and then tech support raised ticket.

I quit the exam for obvious reason that i lost 1 hour and 1 hour is not sufficient to give whole exam.
Immediately raised the Jira ticket with Linux Foundation support.

    Ticket Number - TCCS-141477

    Please help.
    This is really demotivating

I took the CKA exam today and I had a very similar experience to what drusiecki described.

    • very slow response typing word in the terminal
    • often duplicated characters (e.g. kubectl appppppply)
    • slow to open files
    • slow to paste to files
    • scrolling in the browser is impossible. No response and then scrolling past what I wanted.

This was very frustrating. I was not able to fully complete all of the questions and I'm scared to see what my score will be. I feel like I knew all of the material very well and I was able to complete other exam simulators without any problems.
