I couldn't get local-repo-setup.sh

in LFD259 Class Forum

I couldn’t get LFD459/SOLUTIONS/s_03/local-repo-setup.sh as mentioned in the lesson 03. I only have LFD259 folder and tried searching local-repo-setup.sh file but there was no file related to this. And the steps shows a different folder which is LFD459 which I don't have currently. please help am kind of stuck.

    What course version are you using? The latest update is from 2.28.2023, and the files are all there.

    Please replace LFD459 with LFD259 in all instances, and it should work.

    Thanks for reply, To clarify here the folder related to LFD259.

    There is no file related local-repo-setup.sh

    since this file is actually missing in the download from early december 2023, is it possible to get it from some older package maybe or a description what it contains. I noticed the part about plugins."io.containerd.grpc.v1.cri".. in the description which looks usnure?

    Hi @alexanderlvov1,

    The shell script file can be found in the course SOLUTIONS tarball. You can find download and extraction details in lab exercise 2.1.

    @chrispokorni, i received LFD259_V2022-11-23_SOLUTIONS.tar.xz, the only file with "local" in the name in that tar ball is edited-localregistry.yaml. There is no file named local-repo-setup.sh

    Hi @alexanderlvov1

    Are you looking at the latest pdf guide? Your mentioned SOLUTIONS file is from 2022, which is outdated. You should download the latest file - either via instructions in Lab 2.1 or following instructions provided on the Course Resources page in the intro chapter.

    Yes, thank you Flavia, there was a newer tar ball now that i looked at it. But there must be an old tar ball referenced somewhere cause i just purchased these course a week ago, i never had access to anything before that.
