Running cluster on local VMs

Hello,
I've set up a cluster on local VMs (libvirt and virsh) and everything works except that sometimes I have connectivity issues, but only with some commands.
For example, running curl -sL run.linkerd.io/install | sh doesn't start a download 9/10 times and even when it does start it leaves me hanging on the next step ('Download complete!')
I can ping, dig, etc. run.linkerd.io
I also have difficulties (sometimes) downloading helm charts...
On my host machine the commands work as expected
Any ideas how to find the cause of this?
