LAB 4.1.4 resource mapping not found for name: "ambassadorinstallations.getambassador.io"

Hi,

I got stuck at the initial embassador instalation with following error:

student@mesh-cp:~$ kubectl apply -f https://github.com/datawire/ambassador-operator/releases/latest/download/ambassador-operator-crds.yaml
error: resource mapping not found for name: "ambassadorinstallations.getambassador.io" namespace: "" from "https://github.com/datawire/ambassador-operator/releases/latest/download/ambassador-operator-crds.yaml": no matches for kind "CustomResourceDefinition" in version "apiextensions.k8s.io/v1beta1"
ensure CRDs are installed first
student@mesh-cp:~$

I've tried to debugg a bit but not sure what the fault is.

I checked the CRDs as per error suggestion and I don't have any at the momment:

student@mesh-cp:~$ kubectl get crd
No resources found

consul-control-plane is running good:

student@mesh-cp:~$ docker container ls

    Hi I found the issue.

    Problem is due to the kind version.

    Confusion comes when in the exercise description 1.1.9 it suggest to see the "​kind documentation​" to install kind. I followed this link to install kind so I installed a newer version (v0.13.0):

    curl -Lo ./kind https://kind.sigs.k8s.io/dl/v0.13.0/kind-linux-amd64
chmod +x ./kind
mv ./kind /some-dir-in-your-PATH/kind

    However in the lab instructions, installation steps are also described but the command contains an older kind version:

    curl -Lo ./kindhttps://kind.sigs.k8s.io/dl/v0.8.1/kind-$(uname)-amd64
    chmod +x ./kind
    sudo mv ./kind /usr/local/bin/kind

    So I deleted the kind file on: /usr/local/bin/kind and then I installed it again with the older version.
