Unable to boot my Linux Mint Xfce 32 bit system due to error message which states "fsck exited with status 4". What does this mean and how can I "run fsck manually""? I understand that "fsck" stands for file system check.
I have been using this computer with Linux since 2016; firstly , with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and since 2019 Linux Mint Xfce until now.
I would appreciate any advice to get my computer up and running again as I am totally fed up with Microsoft and their partners.

Computer is Toshiba Satallite L300.
