Welcome to the Linux Foundation Forum!

In the calico.yaml file, do I have to uncomment line 5 and 6?

  1. ....
  2. 2 # The default IPv4 pool to create on startup if none exists. Pod IPs will be
  3. 3 # chosen from this range. Changing this value after installation will have
  4. 4 # no effect. This should fall within`--cluster-cidr`.
  5. 5 - name: CALICO_IPV4POOL_CIDR
  6. 6 value:"192.168.0.0/16"
  7. ....

    Hello,

You should be able to follow the lab as written. Is there a step which says to uncomment those lines?

  • That's what confuses me. The lab refers to these lines as if they were commented out (see the extract above). But there are no clear instructions to do so.

If there is no instruction to do so, then don't do so. Does the lab work for you if you follow the steps as written?
