Getting an error while applying network plugin configuration to cluster.
Hi There,
I'm new to class & working on installation lab. Getting the below error while trying to copy calico.yaml file from root to non-user directory.
error: error loading config file "/home/student/.kube/config": no kind "ConfigMap" is registered for version "v1" in scheme "k8s.io/client-go/tools/clientcmd/api/latest/latest.go:50".
Any help would be appreciated!
Thank You,
Anu

Hi @yanupama,
The
cpcommand in step 16 of lab 3.1 is very basic, intending to copy thecalico.yamlfile from the/rootdirectory to the student's home directory. It seems you may not be issuing the proper command. Please double-check the command and ensure that you copy the entire command fromsudoall the way to the.which is also part of the command.Regards,

As I tried to setup the kubernetes in GCP from beginning again, noticed that the error is related to copying calico.yaml file to non-root user directory. Step 16 in 3.1 LAB, https://trainingportal.linuxfoundation.org/learn/courseFileLists/4e01a19b-f733-47d9-8b54-7b45b0e90901?fileListId=4f2292c8-ef74-4536-8c53-edd181831fbf&fileIndex=0. Not sure, if I'm missing anything. Any advice will be helpful!
Thank You,
