NTP difference 2 minutes between centos and ubuntu

Hi,

i happened to deploy kubernetes on centos 7 and deployed prometheus in it. when I accessed the prometheus UI, I got message that there is 122s difference between my ubuntu desktop and centos 7 server. i had installed ntp(d) on both ubuntu and centos7 but the time is not synced. is there any suggestion to the time synced?

    Hi @Yuyanto,

    A couple of things to check are: the service started/running on both servers, ntp.conf setup with same server pool.

    There is the NTP Pool Project that enables continental zones and even per country configuration of ntp service. This may help in ensuring ntp services from both machines are using the same pool.
