12. Logging and Troubleshooting - Sniffing Traffic With Wireshark

Hello All, Just wanted to know if we need to understand the plugins in depth for the exam. For example, I installed the sniff plugin , however it is mentioned in the training that "sniff requires Wireshark and ability to export graphical display", so should i install wireshark and practise using the plugin.

    Still a valid question I think. My understanding is that during the CKA exam you can't visit any github site as only subdomains of kubernetes.io are allowed, so if we rely on READMEs we'll be in trouble.

    I played with sniff a bit (with tshark instead of gui wireshark), it was cool, and I can see a bunch of useful plugins but I'm not going to play with them right now unless I need to.

    I haven't seen mention of plugins in blogs from people who've passed the exam so currently I'd think not.
