I finished downloading xenial and ddi the command "sudo startkde" and it popped up an error messaging saying file not found and some other sutff. PLease help i really want linux on my chromebook!!
Ubuntu uses Gnome, not KDE. If you wanted KDE you should have installed Kubuntu instead.
Just try startx

i even tried "sudo startxfce4" and it still didnt work. What should i do?
Ubuntu uses GNOME, not xfce4! If you wanted xfce4 you should have installed Xubuntu instead.
What happens if you just try startx ?
