In lab 3.1 : If running your nodes using GCE, ensure your
instances are using VPC setup and all ports are allowed. I need help on how to use VPN and ports on GCP. It is frustrating many steps are not clear, documentation is very poor.

    GCP documentation guides you step by step how to create a VPC. I believe the IP ranges from the online guide are sufficient for the purpose of these labs.

    Also, the documentation for firewall rules guides you how to create a firewall rule. Your rule should allow all protocols, all ports, all source/destinations (0.0.0.0/0). It is not a best practice/production setup, but it is necessary in order to get these labs working.

    I did not have to setup a VPN, so I am not sure what is needed there.
