i don't know install libnet. whereis install,readm

in Installation

hi.

i'm ubuntu, and now i trying install a new aplication.

my problem:

- need libnet-1.0.2a i download here http://www.filewatcher.com/m/libnet-1.0.2a.tgz.37684.0.0.html

- i don't know install because there isn't install, readme, makefile...

can i help me, please?

    Did you unzip/untar the file? What is in the directory that produces? 
    gunzip -c libnet-1.0.2a.tgz | tar -xvf -

    i make "tar -zxvf libnet-1.0.2a.tgz" and output:

    +CONTENTS
    +COMMENT
    +DESC
    bin/libnet-config
    lib/libnet.a
    include/libnet.h
    include/libnet/libnet-asn1.h
    include/libnet/libnet-functions.h
    include/libnet/libnet-headers.h
    include/libnet/libnet-macros.h
    include/libnet/libnet-ospf.h
    include/libnet/libnet-structures.h
    man/man3/libnet.3

    then run libnet-config

    I posted on your blog:

    Please respond with the version of ubuntu you are using and the name of the base program that requires libnet-1.02a.

    With the abundancy of application available on the repos it is highly possible that the app you want and the dependencies are available somewere and will not require manual installation.

    ok, Solved problem
    the packet of this link: http://sourceforge.net/projects/libnet/files/ no run. because less files.

    now i can run my program.
