Best distro for Acer Aspire One A150
Hi!
I'm not exactly new to Linux, but i don't know where to ask :-)
I have an old Acer Aspire One A150 with 1GB RAM and tradidional Harddrive.
I was running Ubuntu Remix that work greate, but Ubuntu change it with new GUI that is horrible slow and useless on this computer.
I'm hoping there is a better distro that will make this computer work again, so my question is:
- What distro is the best for this Acer Aspire One A150?

First you need to understand that Ubuntu Remix is not an official Canonical issue "Ubuntu Mini Remix is an idea by Fabrizio Balliano and is not recognized, supported or sponsored in any way by Ubuntu and Canonical. This means that this is not an official Ubuntu project." - http://www.ubuntu-mini-remix.org/
You say that the GUI changed. Did you run Unity? "How much memory do you need to use Ubuntu?Recommended. According to the Ubuntu wiki, Ubuntu requires a minimum of 1024 MB of RAM, but 2048 MB is recommended for daily use. You may also consider a version of Ubuntu running an alternate desktop environment requiring less RAM, such as Lubuntu or Xubuntu. Lubuntu is said to run fine with 512 MB of RAM."
You did not need to stick with one Desktop Environment, you could choose another Desktop Environment or Windows Manager.
Start by looking at http://www.alandmoore.com/blog/2013/11/30/reviving-your-old-pc-with-linux-part-vi-building-your-own-lightweight-remix/ . https://www.maketecheasier.com/install-a-minimal-ubuntu-on-old-laptop/ and https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/LowMemorySystems
It maybe that you can keep Ubuntu Remix for just now and go down the LXDE or LXQT route. If so then install lxde-core or lxqt-core instead of the full metapackages.
Which Desktop Manager do you use GDM? You could try installing something like LightDM instead.
You have to remember that when you have a lightweight system you cannot just load heavyweight apps on it becasue the whole thing becomes heavywight. I find this useful https://harbhag.wordpress.com/2010/07/02/best-lightweight-applications-for-linux/

I was running Ubuntu Remix for Netbooks, but now i'm running Ubuntu 13.04 Unity.
I just started up Acer One after 2 years inactiv and it still work ok. It become a little hot but its hot in the air here where i stay now. Youtube is a litle slow, but i guess this is normal for this lightweight-computer.
I'm writing this now on this Aces One.
I'm nok asking about the best lightweight Ubuntu, but the best lightweight Linux-distro that will work on this Acer One A150. (Support for Graphic and wifi).

Best is such a subjective thing. My AOA150 came with Windows XP on the 120 GB HDD. I kept XP, but added both Fedora and Ubuntu. I've migrated across DEs from XFCE to LXDE to Mate. It's a matter of personal preference. I don't use the old netbook much anymore, as I picked up an HP Stream 11 about a year and a half ago. Although the battery now only lasts half an hour, the AOA150 refuses to die.
