windows media player 9

downloaded wine then media player. Click on player. it comes up then disappears after 3 seconds. Anyone know why?

    There are a lot of native Linux media player. Why not use one of those?

    PlayOnLinux supports Windows Media Player 10. http://www.playonlinux.com/en/supported_apps-5-0.html

    when I burn discs they wont play in my car. Where as they did when I used windows & windows media player. I tried burning at slower rate n though it at times still gives an error code n ejects cd it does work. better than nothing I guess

    Which disto do you use? Maybe it is the burner you use. Which one have you tried?

    Xfburn. Tried baserio or whatever it is first.

    I tried downloading it. But, it kept stopping. Tried like 10 times.
