LP-ID for LPIC certification

hope someone can help me here.

i want to enroll for LPIC 101 certification at an exam center, but when i do, they ask me for my LP-ID, but how or where do i get that?

if i ask the exam center they just tell me i should inquire with the course-provider, but as i dont have one, selfstudy, i wonder how and where to get that LP-ID. Or is it only available after having followed a course with one of the training-centers?

i hope someone can help me how to enroll for certification without an LP-ID number, of how to get such a number WITHOUT having followed a course at a training-center.
