Can someone help explain chapter "20.19.b. Finding shared libraries (Cont.)"

I don't understand the slide. In particular the example. foo is used like a command, but is in fact a directory. Can someone shed light on this please?

The spanish course ends at 20.17 and I can't see the full line in 20.19 lesson, but foo is usually used as a sample variable, this wikipedia page explains it better than me.

I think you are right. Though in that particular example they used foo for both directory and command; that was confusing me. Thank you for the input.
  • That's right, 'foo' is used as a wilcard when you need to make an example, either a command, directory, filename, etc.

    Regards,
    Luis.
