Welcome to the Linux Foundation Forum!

IP flooding and IRQ-threads.

Options

Hello all,

I'm trying to improve the security of my embedded system (running Linux 3.12.35).

My question is :

What is the best way, exepting the firewall, to better protect my system against IP flooding ?

--> Is it a good idea to do something around the IRQ thread mechanism (such as limiting the amount of interrupt within a given amount of time).

Any advices will be very welcome...

Thank you !
