New to Linux Website

Hello!

I'm not sure how I'm supposed to do this but it's very nice to be a part of a community of Linux users.....

My name is John and I have been studying and working a little with UNIX/Linux since the early 1990's. I think it's the best operating system anywhere by far. Of course, it is the original and I'm sure you all know that.

I just downloaded KUbuntu Linux and am having some problems with Installing it on one laptop and some problems with the monitor on a different tower computer I have.

I am looking for the correct place to submit my dilemma's with both of these and receive some answers that will resolve the problems.

However, I do not think this is the correct forum, so I will do that in the correct one here.

Kubuntu is basically Ubuntu with KDE, so although some of the links look like Ubuntu they cover Kubuntu too.
