CKA Exam Technical Failure – Request for Time Credit and Exam Rescheduling TCCS-184246)

Dear Linux Foundation Certification Team,

I am writing to formally report a serious technical issue that occurred during my Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) exam on September 24, 2026.

Unfortunately, I was unable to start and complete the exam because of persistent technical problems with the PSI Bridge server and remote desktop environment. The remote desktop failed to load, and repeated restarts of the PSI Secure Browser did not resolve the issue.

I was not able to begin working on any of the exam questions because the exam desktop itself was not accessible.

I went through the troubleshooting process multiple times and checked in with the PSI system/support three times during the exam session. However, the issue remained unresolved. I started troubleshooting at approximately 10:30 PM IST and continued until around 2:00 AM IST. During this period, a significant portion—approximately half—of my allotted exam time was lost while attempting to resolve the technical issue.

The troubleshooting process repeatedly went into the same loop without providing a working solution. When I eventually left the exam session, the exam was still paused, and I had not been able to start answering the questions because the remote desktop environment was not loading.

There were also multiple support tickets opened by the PSI team in relation to this incident. One of the ticket/reference numbers is:

POA-228792

Given that this issue was caused by the exam delivery environment and prevented me from accessing the exam, I request that the Linux Foundation:

  1. Investigate the technical incident and the associated PSI support tickets/logs.
  2. Restore/credit the exam time that I lost due to the technical failure.
  3. Provide me with a new CKA exam attempt at no additional cost.
  4. Reschedule my CKA examination once the technical issue with the PSI Bridge/remote desktop environment has been addressed.
  5. Please also confirm that this incident will not negatively affect my examination attempt or certification record.

I have invested significant time preparing for the CKA examination, and unfortunately I was unable to demonstrate my knowledge because I could not access the exam environment.

I would appreciate your prompt assistance in resolving this matter and arranging a replacement examination attempt.

Please let me know if you require any additional information from me, including screenshots, PSI correspondence, ticket details, or other evidence related to the incident.

Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your response and a resolution.

Kind regards,
Biswajit Mukherji
