Best way to start learning Linux for cloud and DevOps?

I'm new to Linux and want to build a strong foundation before moving into cloud and DevOps.

There are many learning resources available, so I'm not sure where to begin.

I have a few questions:

Which Linux distribution is best for beginners?
Which command-line topics should I learn first?
Are there any Linux Foundation courses or free resources you recommend?
How much hands-on practice should I do each day?
