What is the easiest way to manage and merge a large number of vCard files?

I have accumulated a large collection of VCF files over time from different devices and contact exports. Managing them separately has become difficult, especially when I need to search, organize, or import contacts. I would like to merge all these vCard files into a single VCF file while keeping contact details such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, and other information intact. What is the easiest and most reliable way to handle this?

The easiest way to manage and combine any large vCard file, i found, is to use a merge VCF tool. I had many small VCF files saved from different backups. It became irritating to manage them separately, so I used Softaken Merge vCard once for this work.
I added my VCF files to the tool and checked the contacts in the preview before merging. That part was helpful because I would rather not create a wrong combined file. After the merge, I got one single VCF file, which was much easier to import and store.

    My experience:

    • Steps were easy to follow
    • Preview helped me check contacts first
    • Contact names and numbers stayed readable
    • It saved manual copy-paste work
    • The final file was easier to manage
    • I still kept the old files as backup. That is safer before merging any contact files.
