LFS258 Updated to Kubernetes 1.35.2 (6.3.2026)

Hello,

We have completed the LFS258 upgrade to Kubernetes v1.35.2. The course has been updated to Kubernetes version 1.35.2 instead of 1.35.1, as the Kubernetes release team addressed critical vulnerabilities (CVE-2025-61732 and CVE-2025-68121) in the newer patch version.

Since the Kubernetes Dashboard is now deprecated and no longer maintained, we replaced the lab (13.3) with the Headlamp UI. This lab not only demonstrates a graphical interface for Kubernetes but also provides an opportunity to showcase RBAC concepts, which are covered in the upcoming chapter.

Please note: Although some learners may point out that Ingress is being phased out, it is still included in this course. Many organizations have not yet fully migrated away from Ingress, and it also provides a practical foundation for understanding the Gateway API in an educational context

Additionally, regular updates have been implemented across labs, lectures, and scripts to enhance overall quality and the learner experience.
