How can I divide an ICS file by month or year automatically?

I have a very large ICS calendar file containing several years of events, and importing or managing it has become really difficult. I want to divide the file automatically by month or year so that the calendar becomes easier to organize, share, and import into applications like Outlook, Google Calendar, or Apple Calendar. I tried manual methods, but they take too much time and often disturb the original event structure or recurring entries.

While searching for a solution, I came across SysTools ICS Splitter Tool, which claims to split large ICS files into smaller parts based on date range, year, or size without data loss. Has anyone used this tool before? Is it reliable for bulk ICS file splitting, and does it maintain calendar formatting and metadata properly?
