Recover Inaccessible Data after File System Damaged

Many users lose access to their important files when the file system of an external hard drive or USB drive gets damaged. This problem usually occurs due to sudden power failure, improper removal of the drive, virus attacks, bad sectors, or interrupted file transfers. When the file system becomes corrupted, the drive may appear as RAW, inaccessible, or show errors like “You need to format the disk before using it.” In most cases, the data is still present on the drive, but the operating system cannot properly read the damaged file system structure. It is important not to format the drive immediately because formatting may overwrite recoverable data and reduce the chances of successful recovery.

To recover inaccessible data after file system damage, users can first try the Windows CHKDSK utility to repair minor logical errors. However, for severely corrupted or RAW drives, professional recovery software is often required. BLR Data Recovery Toolkit is a useful solution for recovering files from damaged, inaccessible, formatted, or corrupted storage devices. The software performs deep scanning to locate lost photos, videos, documents, and other important files even when the original file system is no longer accessible. After scanning, users can preview and recover files safely to another healthy storage location.
