Does Microsoft Outlook allow exporting PST data as CSV?

No, Microsoft Outlook does not fully support exporting PST data directly into CSV format as a complete one-step conversion. I also checked this while working with old mailbox data, and I found that Outlook treats PST as an internal storage file, not something that can be fully converted into CSV at once.
What Outlook does allow is exporting specific folders or selected data into CSV format. For example, you can export emails from a single folder like the Inbox or Sent Items, or export contacts separately, but you cannot convert the entire PST file into one CSV file in a single action. The process usually goes through File > Open & Export > Import/Export, where you select Export to a file and then choose CSV format.

This method works, but it is manual and must be repeated for each folder, which can be time-consuming for large PST files. Because of this limitation, many users look for more efficient tools when they need full PST-to-CSV conversion, such as the BLR PST Converter Tool, which helps simplify bulk conversion and data management.
