Does Microsoft Outlook support PST to VCF conversion?

Yes, Microsoft Outlook does support PST to VCF conversion, but with some limitations. I discovered this when I needed to transfer my old Outlook contacts to another device that only accepted vCard files. Initially, I assumed Outlook would export all contacts from the PST file into VCF format in one step, but the process is mostly manual.
Outlook allows users to open the PST file, go to the Contacts section, and save individual contacts as VCF (vCard) files using the Save As option. This method works well if you only have a few contacts to export. However, if the PST file contains hundreds or thousands of contacts, repeating the same process for every contact becomes very time-consuming.
Because of this limitation, many users prefer using BLR PST Converter for bulk PST to VCF conversion. It can export multiple contacts simultaneously while preserving important details such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, profile photos, and other contact information accurately.

Microsoft Outlook supports vCard/VCF contacts, but it does not provide a simple one-click option to convert a complete PST file into VCF format. Outlook can save selected contacts as vCard, but this is usually practical only for a small number of contacts. For a large PST file, the manual method becomes slow and difficult to manage.

For broader PST conversion needs, TrustVare PST Converter Software can be a useful option. It is designed to convert Outlook PST data into multiple formats like EML, MSG, MBOX, PDF, HTML, MHTML, EMLX, TGZ, and also supports IMAP/Office 365 migration. The tool can preview PST data before conversion and keeps emails, contacts, calendars, folders, attachments, and metadata safe during export.

So, Outlook can handle vCard files, but for professional PST data conversion, a standalone tool like TrustVare PST Converter is a better choice.
