NOTICE: LFS253 Update In Progress

Hello,

We are incrementally rolling out a major update of the Containers Fundamentals (LFS253) course over the next couple of weeks. As a result, both lectures and lab exercises will be updated.

For the updated lab exercises, access to a Linux desktop/laptop is required. Access to a local hypervisor is optional in the absence of a native Linux desktop/laptop. Guidelines to set up your lab environment are provided in the course.

The updated labs have been tested on Ubuntu Desktop 24.04 LTS. If using a different Linux distribution, you will need to adapt the commands to your specific distribution.

We will do our best to minimize disruptions in your learning experience.

Chapters 2, 3, and 4 have been updated.
