Hi @reidara,
The embedded browser tab seems to freeze after long time of inactivity - I observed this behavior in my hosted lab instance.
Also, once the service mesh dashboard is launched in the embedded browser tab, stepping away from it and returning after several minutes can exhibit the crash reported above. I was able to reproduce this in my hosted lab instance, with the same error reported above.
The only solution I found so far is to:
- (1) Reload/Refresh the host browser tab that runs your entire lab instance (the browser on your host workstation/laptop) AND
- (2) Launch again the service mesh dash in the embedded browser tab.
This is a less-than ideal solution, but I am reporting this to our technical team to investigate.
For the missing
web-two-...pod, I recommend the following:- Step 1: generate and execute the commands needed to complete the requirements: create two deployments and expose them. Ensure they are both launched, available, running, etc...
- Step 13: the
kubectl execcommand you copy from the side instructions panel is generic, so you need to pay close attention to what you are doing, to ensure the correct pod name is captured by the command. The command is not predictive, while your deployment pod replicas will be assigned random names. Adjust the command in-terminal as needed.
Regards,
