Why does XLS to VCF conversion fail during bulk contact migration?

XLS to VCF conversion sometimes fails during bulk contact migration because Excel files often contain large contact lists, empty fields, or incorrect formatting. When I tried to convert my contacts earlier, the process failed a few times because some columns were not arranged properly and a few contacts had missing details. During bulk migration, these small issues can create field-mapping errors, which means names, phone numbers, or email addresses may not match correctly with vCard fields. Because of this, the conversion can stop, or some contacts can not appear after the process.

After facing this problem, I used the OSTtoPSTAPP Excel to vCard Converter, and it really helped me complete the conversion without errors. It is an offline and Windows-based tool, so the process is secure and simple. I would recommend it to anyone facing similar issues because it handles bulk contacts smoothly.

Helpful features of the tool:

  • Preview option – check contacts before starting the conversion.
  • Field mapping – keeps contact details in the correct vCard fields.
  • Bulk conversion – converts multiple Excel contacts at once.
  • Filtered file option – allows selecting only required contacts.
  • Duplicate control – avoids creating duplicate contacts.
