How to import ICS to Apple Calendar and sync it across iCloud?

When I wanted to import ICS to Apple Calendar and see the events on my iPhone as well, I realized I needed to import them into iCloud instead of saving them locally. First, I checked that iCloud Calendar sync was turned on in my Mac settings.

Then I opened Apple Calendar, selected File > Import, and chose my ICS file. The important part was selecting the iCloud calendar as the destination. After importing, within a few minutes, the events appeared not only on my Mac but also on my iPhone automatically.
For bulk files, I used the SysInfo ICS Converter Tool to review and filter the data before importing, which made syncing much more organized.
