Extract Calendar from PST Files Manually

Extracting calendar data from a PST file can be done using manual methods (via Outlook).

Manual Method (Using Microsoft Outlook)

If you have access to Microsoft Outlook, follow these steps:

Steps:

  • Open Microsoft Outlook on your system.
  • Go to File > Open & Export > Open Outlook Data File.
  • Browse and select your PST file.
  • Once loaded, expand the PST file in the left panel.
  • Click on the Calendar folder.
  • Now go to File > Save Calendar.
  • Choose a location and save it as an ICS file (iCalendar format).

Alternative Method (Drag & Drop)

  • Open PST file in Outlook
  • Go to Calendar
  • Select calendar items
  • Drag and drop them to a folder → saved as .ICS files

If you only need to extract a few calendar entries, Outlook works fine. But for large PST files or professional use, a dedicated tool like Cigati PST Converter is a faster and more reliable option.
