Could not take second attempt because of wrong name taken by portal

I am reaching out to you regarding the incorrect name during the second attempt of my certification exam for "Certified Kubernetes Administrator".

I gave my first attempt on Feb 08th 2026, unfortunately I could only score 46 and was not able to attempt all the questions in the given time.

Immediately after the results I scheduled my exam leveraging the second attempt provided. Now it is well understood that if it is my second attempt then all my details are the same like name, address, identification proof. So I just straightaway scheduled the exam for Feb 15th 2026. But somehow the portal took a dynamic name "Kumar j aRRaj Kumar" during registration for the second attempt. Just to make it clear it is not a typo error on my part. Because if it would have been a typo, then I would have at least one such alphabet which is not in my name. If we look at the name taken, it is my name taken twice. So it is the portal that has done something wrong here.

Unfortunately I did not catch this error till the time the protector told me during the initial verification on Feb 15th. Immediately after that, I raised a ticket with PSI, linux training's jira portal (https://jira.linuxfoundation.org/plugins/servlet/desk/portal/15/TCCS-167122). I corrected my name on the portal and started the exam again within 30mins. But the protector was still not able to see my correct name. Therefore I was not able to appear for a second attempt.

The response that I received on Jira ticket TCCS-167122 was that as per policy you had confirmed before starting the exam. Yes I agree on that but since it was a second attempt for me, I was not expecting there would be any such scenario of name recorded wrong. I straightaway went to start the exam. The Jira ticket also offered me a new voucher and they will offer me a 50% discount. But I was promised a free second attempt in my first voucher and if there is some issue that happened, I expect the support executive to fix the issue and not offer me to buy a new voucher. That option is always there with me. But being a student I cannot afford a new voucher and I expect the support person to fix the issue and allow me a second attempt that was promised during voucher purchase.

Now it has been more than 72 hours but no result has been published. So I think the proctor has not marked me absent or No show. My exam voucher expires on Feb 23rd 2026. May I request you to allow me the option to reschedule the exam immediately till 23rd Feb.

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
