Aspiring DE named Austin - c'mon Kubernetes!!

Hi everyone!

My name is Austin and I am a Systems Analyst inside of a Finance org for my current company.
I'm here trying to upskill in my Data Engineering ability, as I aspire to move into a Data Engineering role (hopefully in the next two years!).

I've been using Python without a CS degree in my career for about 2 years now. I only put it that way because it has been so difficult to learn and it seems to me that no matter how much somebody else knows about all of this if I can't make some kind of real meaningful connection with that person it makes it difficult to learn from them!

I feel I am at a very exciting point of my learning curve where there is a lot fundamental stuff I don't know but having been able to survive this long I believe I have what it takes to become really sharp really quickly on this stuff!

Some specific things I'm really hoping to achieve in the next 90 days:

Milestone 1: Deploy my first agentic AI bot (even if it’s a simple task)
Milestone 2: Deploy an EC2 instance and connect it to Apache Airflow
Milestone 3: Present one or more of the above solutions to my entire office!
