Exam marked as absent since technical issue
Hello Training & Certification Support Team,
I’m writing to request assistance with my CKA exam attempt that was marked Absent/No-Show due to a technical issue with PSI Bridge Secure Browser.
Exam: CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
Scheduled time: January 17, 2026 – 10:00 AM (Asia/Ho_Chi_Minh / UTC+7)
Issue: When attempting to launch the exam at the scheduled time, PSI Bridge displayed ERROR-SB-0010 (system check failed / fatal). Because the secure browser could not proceed past the system check, I was unable to start the exam on time and the attempt was later marked Absent.
What I tried (before and during the scheduled time):
Launched PSI Bridge and attempted to start the exam multiple times.
Restarted the secure browser and my computer.
Confirmed stable internet connection and that webcam/microphone permissions were enabled.
Re-installed PSI Bridge / ran system check again / tried another network
Impact:
I was ready and present for the exam, but the PSI technical error prevented me from launching the test, resulting in an unfair Absent status.
Request:
Could you please review this incident and reinstate the exam attempt / provide a reschedule (or other appropriate remediation) since the no-show was caused by a proctoring platform technical issue?

I faced the same issue today with CKS exam and I couldn't get it pass the system check stage as mentioned here. I already opened a support ticket and awaiting response. It's really frustrating that the LFX not taking this seriously and not putting any effort to fix these issues. A simple google search file show you how much people are frustrated with PSI browser.

I faced the same issue on 2026-02-14, at around 10:00 AM (Taipei time, UTC+8) during my CKS exam. The PSI Secure Browser repeatedly failed at the system check stage with error-sb-0010, even after I closed all background applications. I’ve already opened a support ticket and I’m waiting for a response.
This is extremely frustrating because the problem appears to be widespread—there are many reports from other candidates experiencing the same Secure Browser/system check failure. I respectfully ask the Linux Foundation / LFX and PSI teams to treat this as a high-priority issue and work together to identify the root cause and provide a reliable fix as soon as possible.
Please share clear guidance on what triggers SB-0010 and what candidates can do to prevent it, and ensure affected candidates are given a fair resolution (e.g., a reschedule/retake that does not count as an attempt). Thank you.

It happened to me today as well, even though my PSI checks passed successfully yesterday. This is incredibly frustrating and disappointing, especially since we plan this exam in advance and take many factors into consideration.

I didn't knew that the psi browser didn't support wayland on debian 13, so i log in using xorg didn’t work, i open my windows partition checking was done then my camera stopped followed by a crash, i changed the camera, same thing happen followed by the error message.
I thought my laptop was at fault, but now it is clear, this is daylight robbery.I immediately raised a ticket after this happened, it's almost 24 hours still no response.
