Does this Linux introduction help me in installing Linux Ubuntu?
I am new to linux and I want to switch from window to Linux. I want to install arch linux but I heard that I would need a lot of linux knowledge to do so. So I am installing Ubuntu first.

Yes, don't tackle installing Arch Linux without some experience. It has gotten easier, but unless you have done installations, it may present you with some challenges. Ubuntu is more straight-forward to install. I believe there is a video in Chapter four that demonstrates installing Linux in a virtual machine. Installing Linux on bare metal (i.e., directly on your machine) is a similar process.

I would suggest to use mint or Zorin as a 1st timer. They are great options and Windows similar kinds OS.

Zorin is a really good choice if you have a lot of Windows apps that you still want to run. Zorin interfaces well with Windows apps but be aware that not all Windows apps will work. I, personally, like Mint better than Ubuntu, but Ubuntu has a large community for support and resources. Another consideration for "which Distro should I install?" is if your current employer (or a potential future employer) has selected a Distro that they are running. Having experience on a Linux Distro that you will have contact with part of your career is very helpful.
