Samsung M2070 not scanning

Hi I just did a clean install of Cinnamon 22.2 and had a major battle to get my Samsung M2070 printer to work. Eventually I found that using the following driver -Samsung SCX-3200, 2.0.0 - got the printer to work but not the scanning facility. Any help will be most appreciated. I'm a relative novice to terminal commands so please spell everything out very simply.
I did delete IPP driverless printing (sudo apt-get remove ipp-usb sane-airscan) in the process but I don't know if this will affect the scanning process.
